MUSCATINE, Iowa – Despite finishing second in the Mississippi Athletic Conference in dual meets with a 6-1 record, Muscatine diver Sarah Martin was the lone first-team conference selection.

Martin was the first diver from Muscatine to qualify for the state meet in several years, scoring 308.65 to finish second at the regional meet.

Coach Judd Anderson’s Muskies did, however, have several second-team selections, including Hannah Eichelberger in the 50 freestyle, the 200 individual medley relay (Eichelberger, Jennifer Littlejohn, Martin and Laura Ewalt) and the 200 freestyle relay team of Eichelberger, Littlejohn, Martin  and Ewalt.

Bettendorf was 7-0 in the conference and Molly Coonce of the Bulldogs was named Swimmer of the Year. Coach of the Year honors went to Davenport Central’s Tara Christensen.
