WILTON, Iowa — Kyle Paulsen had three hits, including a double and an RBI and Alec Crawford hit a three-run homer for Wilton in Saturday’s district-opening baseball win over Durant-Bennett.

The Beavers shut down Durant behind Drew Freie (9-1) who struck out seven walked two.

Wilton (27-6) will take on West Branch at home at 7 p.m. today.

The Beavers swept the Bears during Cedar Valley Conference play.
