MUSCATINE, Iowa — Dale D. Drinkall, 83, Muscatine, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at The Lutheran Homes.
The Rev. Bruce Ursin of Wesley United Methodist Church will officiate the services.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in his memory.

Dale D. Drinkall was born April 27, 1926, in Louisa County, the son of Herman and Beulah (Owens) Drinkall. He married Virginia TeStrake, Muscatine, June 16, 1950, in Muscatine.
He served in the Air Force during World War II. He was employed at Thatcher Plastics for 26 years, and in the mid 1970s, he became a licensed locksmith and opened 3-D Locksmith, retiring in 1995.
He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
He loved woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Virginia of Muscatine; a son, Terry Drinkall and wife, Joanne of Muscatine; two daughters, Sheryl Sanders and husband, Gary of Greenville Texas, and Debra Giesler and husband, Daniel of Muscatine; seven grandchildren, Melissa Jackson and husband Corey of Arlington Texas, Tyler Bosley of Pratt, Kan., Beth Ponto and husband, Vince of Tuscan, Ariz., Jenelle Sanders of Greenville, Texas, Heather Allen and husband, Josh of Harvey, Brandon Drinkall of West Liberty, Anne Drinkall and fiancé, Tyler Lamb of Ames; two step-grandchildren, Chad Giesler and Jerry Giesler of Cumby Texas; a great-grandson, Zach Allen of Harvey; two sisters, Isabelle Johnson and husband, Howard of Fort Worth, Texas, and Lorene Richardson of Chandler, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
