MUSCATINE, Iowa — Patricia Jean Delaney Caple, 81, Muscatine, passed away Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
Her request for cremation has been officiated by the Life Transition and Cremation Center. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
There will be no visitation.

Miss Caple was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Muscatine, the daughter of Grandville and Veronica Delaney Caple.
She entertained by playing the organ around the world. She was active in the 60 plus club and supported public television.
She was member of St. Mary Church, the Dubuque Musician's Association and the Tri-City Musical Society.
She taught school in Muscatine in the 1940's after graduating from Dubuque College. She also was a licensed realtor.
She will be deeply missed by her long-time caregiver and a good friend, Alice Hooker of Muscatine, and special friends, Kay Kruse, Emma Nesbit, Mary Mickey, Bill Ross, Marilyn Pilgrim, Tony and Lynn Reese, DeeDee Barnhardt, Cary McNear, Mrs. Warren Longhurst, Katie and Leroy Orris and many other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
