MUSCATINE, Iowa — Daniel I. Fridley, 55, died Saturday Oct. 10, 2009, Muscatine.

A memorial fund has been established.

Mr. Fridley was born Jan. 27, 1954, Muscatine, the son of Richard and Pat VanZyle Fridley. He graduated from West Liberty High School in 1972. He was united in marriage to Sandy Struck, they later divorced. He had been employed with Monsanto as a plant operator.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Pat Fridley of Nichols; a daughter, Shawna Laughlin and husband, Jeff and her children, Caden and Ryan of Fort Dodge; a son, Chad Fridley and wife, Lisa of Ames; a brother, Mike Fridley and wife, Christine of Muscatine;  sisters, Peg Akers and husband, Dave of Nichols and Lorrie Lampe and husband, Don of Muscatine; and former wife, Sandy Fridley, Nichols.
