Service: 10 a.m. Friday, March 6, First Christian Church, Burlington. Visitation: 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5, church.

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa — Jeanette Kay Chadwick, 69, West Burlington, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.

Mrs. Chadwick was born April 12, 1939, the daughter of Levi and Ruth Christy Chadwick, in Bloomfield.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, March 6, at IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield.

The Rev. Tom Smith will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.

She worked for Sylvania for 20 years and Microsurface & Finishing Products, Muscatine.

She was a ceramic artist. She like to play cards, travel and look for antiques.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Rebecca Circle at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Muscatine.

Whatever one twin did they did together.

She is survived by two brothers, Robert “Bob” Chadwick, Ottumwa and John Chadwick and wife, Laneta, St. Louis, Mo.; four sisters, Alice Harder and husband, Wes, Center Point, Ore., Jean Koehler, Burlington, Joann Hunter and husband, Jack, Seymore, Joyce Pence and husband, Doran, Bloomfield; a brother-in-law, Dillon Lyons, Bloomfield; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary Lee Lyons, Judith R. Chadwick, her twin and Doris Spurgeon; two brothers, Martin and Carl Chadwick.
