ALEDO, Ill. — Donna Mae Diehl, 85, Aledo, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, at the Mercer County Nursing Home.
Burial will be at Leech Cemetery, rural Buffalo Prairie.
Memorials may be made to the Donna Mae Diehl memorial fund.

Mrs. Diehl was born Aug. 24, 1924, in Masonville, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Mary (DePauw) Calsyn. She married Leonard Diehl April 26, 1947, in Moline. They farmed in Eliza Township for over 25 years.
She worked at Service Rubber, Rock Island, for many years. She was of the Catholic faith.
She was an American Cancer Society volunteer for more than 12 years and a prior member of the Mercer County Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leonard; a son, Larry Diehl and wife, Laura; a daughter, Cathy Louise Diehl-Long and husband, Ike and a grandson, John David Diehl, all of Aledo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Cathy Ann.
