SUPERIOR, Neb. — Carma Jean Kuhlman, 82, passed away Aug. 22, 2009, at the Superior Good Samaritan Society in Superior.
Pallbearers were Ethan Johnson, Brian Johnson, Mark Contatore, Nathan Kuhlman, Ben Kuhlman, Tom Johnson and Chris Dittmer.
Interment was at the Evergreen Cemetery in Superior.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in care of the family.

Mrs. Kuhlman, the daughter of Otto Krogman and Anna Rogge, was born Nov. 15, 1926, at Columbus City, Iowa.
She was baptized at the Children’s Lutheran Home at Muscatine, Iowa by the Rev. William Klein.
She was confirmed in May 1941 at the Hickory Grove Lutheran Church in Auburn, Neb., by the Rev. B.C. Wiebke.
She attended the Prairie View School near Auburn, and attended Auburn High School.
She married LaVern Kuhlman April 9, 1950, at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church near Deshler.
She was a member of the Centennial Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Leasure and husband, Michael, of Delaware, Ohio, Gary Kuhlman and wife, Diane of Maryville, Tenn., Donna Johnson and husband, Brian, of Ainsworth, Neb. and Teresa Contatore and husband, Mark, of York, Neb.; 13 grandchildren, Jennie Stricklin and husband, Tony of Delaware, Ohio, Michael VanWinkle of Las Vegas, Nev., Kristina Lefevre and husband, Adam, of Delaware, Ohio, Emily Johnson and Ethan Johnson both of Ainsworth, Tamaryn, Tonya and Trinity Contatore of York, and Nathan, Alison, Benjamin Kuhlman of Lincoln, Neb. and Mollie and Jessie Kuhlman of Lincoln City, Ore.; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Melvin Alloway and wife, Donna, of Muscatine, Merlin Alloway of Muscatine, and Margaret Allen of Springfield, Ohio, and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Anna (Rogge) Krogman; her birth parents, Clarence and Alta (Bond) Alloway; her husband, LaVern Sept. 8, 1989; three sisters, Mary, Pauline and Dorothy and two brothers, Robert and Jim Alloway.
Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, was in charge of the arrangements.
