WALCOTT, Iowa - Gary Raymond Henning, 61, Walcott, died Saturday, April 28, 2007, after a courageous battle with Pick's Disease, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids.
The Rev. Paul Ostrem will officiate. Casket bearers are Mark Henning, Harold Freese, Jim Paulsen, Kurt Stange, Ronald Hopphan and Dan Lee. Burial will be at Walcott Cemetery, Walcott.

Mr. Henning was born April, 29, 1945, in Muscatine, the son of Raymond and Edna Freese Henning.
He grew up in Muscatine and later moved to Walcott where he lived all of his adult life.
He had worked at Henning Implement in Muscatine and Walcott for many years. He later worked for New Idea and Hardii. He also was a retired volunteer firefighter at the Walcott Fire Department.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed his summers spent at Blanche Lake in Minnesota and his cabin on the Wapsi River.
Survivors include a daughter, Melanie Newman of San Antonio, Texas; a granddaughter, Taylor Newman of San Antonio; a brother, Don Henning and wife Connie of Fruitland; a nephew, Mark Henning and wife Angie of Muscatine; and a niece, Cindy Henning of Muscatine.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Matthew.
