SPICKARD, Mo. – Roselyn I. Munson, 74, Spickard, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.  The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Munson was born on July 17, 1934, in Wapello, the daughter of Claude and Ada Bird Bender.  She married Henry Munson Sr. on June 20, 1952, in Muscatine.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Munson Sr. of Spickard; five sons, Henry Munson Jr. of Wheeling, Mo., Steven Munson of Chillicothe, Mo., Jeff Munson of Muscatine, Robbie Munson of Trenton, Mo., Terry Munson of Chillicothe; two daughters, Kim Andrews of Burlington, Iowa, and Tamara Hessenflow of Chillicothe; a step-daughter, Chystal Lovell of Muscatine; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; a great great-grandson; and a sister, Pat McCorvey of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, William Bender.
