FONTANA, Wis. — Marjorie Winquist, 72, Fontana, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Williams Bay Care Center.
Mrs. Winquist was born Sept. 9, 1937, in Iowa City, the daughter of Raymond and Edna Jirava Wagner. She married James Winquist Aug. 12, 1961, in Iowa City, Iowa.

Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home is assisting the family.
She received a bachelor’s from the University of Iowa. She taught in the Waukesha, Wis., public schools.
She was past president of the Waukesha Symphony Auxiliary.
She was a member of the Waukesha Service Club and the Pricilla Circle.
She is survived by her husband, James: daughters, Wendy Olson and husband, Todd of Plymouth, Minn., and Corrie Winquist of Waukesha, Wis.; grandchildren, Madison and Jack Olson and Devon Winquist; a sister Marian Payne and husband, William of Muscatine; a sister-in-law, Mary Keeling and husband, Michael of Breckenridge, Colo.; a brother-in-law, Michael “BJ” Winquist of Rockford, Ill.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
