NEW BOSTON, Ill. – Gary L. Kemper, 57, of New Boston, Ill., died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at his home.
The Rev. Lloyd Mansfield will officiate the service.

Mr. Kemper was born on Sept. 13, 1951, in Muscatine, the son of Robert W. and Betty Adkison Kemper. He married Deb Knight on June 10, 2000, in Muscatine.
He was a graduate of Wilton High School.
He had worked for Nordam Aviation in Tulsa, Okla., and later at HON Industries for 15 years.
He enjoyed helping others and he could fix anything and everything. He also enjoyed metal and wood- working.
Survivors include his wife, Deb Kemper, of New Boston, one son, Chad A. Kemper, of Davenport; two daughters, Tracey L. Sulzberger and husband, Steve, of Muscatine, and Janelle Wendt and husband, Travis, of Rochester, Minn.; six grandchildren; his mother, Betty Kemper, of Muscatine; two brothers, Larry P. Kemper and wife, Carolyn, of Muscatine, Dennis W. Kemper and significant other, Linda Anson, of New Boston and two sisters, Nancy Taube and husband, Jim, of Muscatine, and Tammy L. Allison and husband, Matt, of Fruitland.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2002 and a brother, Bobby, in infancy.
