MUSCATINE, Iowa — The Muscatine County Supervisors unanimously approved a policy at their Monday night meeting stating that people can smoke in all county parking lots as long as they don’t light up within 15-feet of the entrances to county buildings. Smoking in county buildings is already banned and on July 1, the county began adhering to state regulations that, in addition to banning smoking in public places, bans smoking in all vehicles, facilities and grounds owned or leased by the county.
