Members of the International Association of Firefighters Local 608 in Muscatine and other volunteers Friday evening wrapped up their annual boot-drive fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The volunteers included Matt Bonebrake,, a Muscatine County Highway Department employee, who was collecting donations at Eighth and Cedar streets with his wife, Rochelle, who is a Muscatine firefighter. More than $15,000 had been collected with Friday’s total not included, Rochelle Bonebrake said. In addition to Eighth and Cedar, volunteers were conducting the boot drive at Lake Park Boulevard and Park Avenue.
