MUSCATINE, Iowa — Muscatine County Drug Task Force officials say they’ve arrested a Muscatine man who sold cocaine to an undercover officer last week.
Josiah Wagner, 18, 51 Cyril Ave., is charged with possession of a controlled simulated substance.
Court documents state that an individual cooperating with police and an undercover officer purchased 5.5 grams of a white powder for $150 on June 4. The powder field-tested positive as cocaine, according to documents.
Wagner was being held on $500 cash bond following an initial court appearance Tuesday. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday, June 19.
Delivery of a controlled substance is a Class C felony, punishable by a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
