MUSCATINE, Iowa — The Obama Iowa Campaign for Change will launch the “Vote Now for Change” RV tour today, including a stop in Muscatine this afternoon.
According to a news release Tuesday, the bus is part of Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama’s effort to encourage people to vote early in this year’s general election, as well as carrying literature to make sure Iowans know how they can vote and to engage them in the democratic process.
The RV will be in Muscatine at 3 p.m. today at the Muscatine Center for Social Action, 312 Iowa Ave.
The RV will tour Iowa today through Friday, Oct. 10, and will be decorated with a “Vote Early for Change” banner and other signs.
Early voting in Iowa has begun and the Obama campaign has set up a voter information hotline at
877-420-8868, to call to get information on how to vote. Iowans can also visit iowa.barackobama.com for more information.
