Stephanie Anne Jones and Jesse Houseman, both of Muscatine, were married May 23 at St. Mathias Catholic Church. The reception was held at the Rendevouz.

The Rev. Jason Crossen officiated.

The bride is the daughter of David and Alice Jones, Muscatine.

She graduated from Muscatine High School in 2003. She received her bachelor’s from the University of Northern Iowa in 2007. She received her master’s degree in speech language pathology this year. She is employed by Speech Tree, Joliet, Ill., as an early intervention speech pathologist.

The groom elect is the son of Ron and Pam Houseman, Muscatine. He graduated from Muscatine High School in 2004. He received his bachelor’s in business management from the University of Northern Iowa in 2008. He is employed by Ruan Transportation as a transportation supervisor, in Joliet.

Maid of honor was Michelle Jones, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Natalie Zehr and Nichole Spiedel, friends of the bride, and A.J. Houseman, sister of the groom.

Best man was Scott Carver, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Sean McCleary and Josh O’Toole, friend of the groom, and Ben Houseman, brother of the groom.

Ushers were Troy Young and Brian Clark, friends of the groom.

Flowergirl was Madeline Jones, cousin of the bride.

Vocalist was Claire Kerker, cousin of the bride.

Organist was Larry Schappveld, friend of the family.

The bride wore an ivory, strapless, sweetheart cut dress, embroidered with beads and lace and accompanied by an ivory sash at the waist with a rhinestone brooch. She carried a bouquet of pink roses with stephanois sprinkled throughout the bouquet.

They took a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
