Mr. Noll was born on Oct. 22, 1928, in the Bayfield area of Muyscatine County, the son of Albert and Helen Hammann Noll. He was a lifelong Lake Township farmer.
He was a member of St. Mary Church. He loved nature, driving his tractors and getting out in the fields; which he did up until this past year. He had a very generous heart. He enjoyed helping others before he would help himself. He loved animals especially his dogs: Snookie, Bootles and Renee; his cats, Mama Kitty and Little One. He loved cooking for his nephew Ronnie who farmed with him. He so loved getting cards in the mail from his family and friends. He loved music, spending time with family and friends, talking, joking and laughing. He loved life in general. He was definitely one in a million and one of a kind. He will be sadly missed by all.
He is survived by two brothers, Donald Noll and wife, Jeannie, of Muscatine, and Jerry Noll and wife, Patti, of Muscatine; four sisters, Ruth Curry, Lucille Kemper, Velma Honts, and Deanna Fuller, all of Muscatine; several nieces and nephews, especially Ronnie Honts and Janeen Sturms, and a special great-niece, Shawna Sturms.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Marvin, Herbert, and Ray Noll, and three sisters, Loraine Sturms, Shirley Heider and Alice Noll, two nieces, Cathy Fullerton and Joyce Curry, and a nephew, Danny Curry.
