MUSCATINE, Iowa - Don LeRoy Rinehart, 67, Muscatine, died unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, at Unity Hospital.
The Rev. Bill Beatty will officiate at the Muscatine services. Private family burial will be at Forrest Cemetery, Oskaloosa, at a later date.

Mr. Rinehart was born Dec. 22, 1938, in Oskaloosa, the son of Edward V. and Leona DeBoef Rinehart. He married Linda Yates on May 5, 1973, at Cotter Presbyterian Church, Cotter.
He attended school in Oskaloosa and graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1957.
He was a resident of Muscatine, having worked in the shipping department of Bandag Corp. for 32 years.
He was in the National Guard Reserves for eight years and was a deputy for the Muscatine County Sheriff's Posse. He attended First Presbyterian Church, Muscatine. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, bowling league and enjoyed fishing and dancing. He was a faithful blood donor and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James E. Rinehart and wife Genevia of Wright; two daughters, Kimberlee Hol and husband Tim and Tamara McCombs and husband Tom, all of Oskaloosa; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert D. Rinehart and wife Nancy of Montezuma; a sister, Carolyn Davis and husband Donald of Ottumwa; a stepbrother, Larry Penland and wife Helen of Oskaloosa; an aunt, Betty Rinehart of Marshalltown; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Lucky and husband Gary of Branson, Mo. and Carolyn Reid and husband Garry of Letts; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Mary Evelyn Rinehart; and a stepbrother, Harry Penland.
